"Think Pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness month

Pink happens to be one of our favorite colors here at DDIB. It's totally diva-ish!:-) The lighter shades of pink are feminine and pretty while the deeper shades are bold and beautiful. Yes, pink is still a hot color for women of all ages. But most importantly, it is the color of HOPE for those who are touched by breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so let's "think pink" and help to promote further progress in finding a cure.

You can show your support by purchasing various "pink ribbon" items and accessories. This is a great way to spread hope. Take a look at some of the things we found at Etsy.

Rest your weary head on this oh-so-pretty Breast Cancer Awareness Rag Quilted Pillow by Pretty Dreams This 18" pillow is made with super-soft flannel and would be a great gift for "Sleeping Beauties" of any age. It's only $18.00. Sweet dreamzzzz are guaranteed.:-)

You've gotta love this Stay Strong Pink Ribbon Designer Glycerin Soap by Body and Spirit. It is scented with Pink Sugar fragrance and is adorned with a pink ribbon. How wonderful is that! When you purchase this soap for $5.50, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research efforts.

And check out this beautiful Pink Ribbon Stationary (a set of 10) by MargoGo. These flat cards are made from 100% recycled card stock and are stamped with a pink "pixie dust" breast cancer awareness ribbon. How pretty! And for only $12.00! We all know someone who needs a little encouragement. Why not send them a letter with this stationary as a pick-me-up. Half of all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
